A very beautiful apartment furnished by Astrid and Jan Peter as if they live there themselves. Nothing has been skimped on; you will never be short of anything in the beautiful, spacious kitchen, and when you close the shutters in the evening and turn on the TV in the living room, you feel right at home. You sleep very well here on the excellent beds. We stayed here for 9 days, 5 of which were with our son and his girlfriend; the second bedroom is also spacious with the same high-quality beds. We were lucky with the weather; in the morning, it was lovely on the terrace on the east side, where you can throw open the sliding doors as soon as you wake up. In the afternoon, it was wonderful to sit in the sun on the lounge sofa on the terrace on the west side, where you can also eat on the spacious terrace. The pleasant welcome and personal approach by Astrid and Jan Peter make it all the more perfect!

We had two wonderful months in Lagos and the apartment certainly contributed to that! It is spotlessly clean, comfortable, and cozily furnished with an eye for detail. Truly everything has been thought of, from kitchen utensils to the laundry basket. The beds are also absolutely top-notch! It is lovely to spend time on one of the terraces. Astrid and Jan-Peter are hospitable and very approachable. The location of the apartment is perfect, within walking distance of the charming town of Lagos, where there is always something going on. Lagos is also centrally located for exploring the region. It is well worth it; the nature is simply stunning and very varied, with plenty of opportunities for endless hiking. Highly recommended!

We had the pleasure of staying in Peter and Astrid’s apartment for a week and a half in July. What a wonderful apartment, and what a wonderful holiday we had with our children.

They thought of everything; it’s truly superb. The apartment was spotlessly clean upon arrival.

Contact via email and app was also excellent. The double bed was comfortable, but unfortunately, the children found their beds too firm, but Astrid came up with a solution for that, and they slept soundly for the rest of the week.

If I had to mention anything, it would have been nice to have some ice packs to take to the beach in a cooler bag or box, for example. But we really can’t find anything negative to say; everything was simply fantastic!

If we ever return to Lagos, we would definitely book this apartment again.

A great apartment with all the comfort you need. Very spacious (including the outdoor areas) and wonderful beds. Location is quiet and a stone’s throw from all the shops and restaurants. The personal and warm welcome by Astrid and Jan Peter make it of great class.

Magnificent apartment with all the luxury you could wish for, beautiful views over the city and the Monchique mountains in the distance. Owners Jan Peter and Astrid do everything they can to make you feel comfortable with guidance and explanation about the house, which is super nice because they also live in Portugal. The town of Lagos is very cozy with many shops and restaurants and good street musicians. There’s enough to do for everyone, all within walking distance. The coastline with the beaches is beautiful to see, nice harbor and boulevard, good for a short walk. It’s great here, we were there for 14 days and were sorry we had to return home again. We will certainly come back!
